The firm prepared all traffic and parking studies for a mixed use residential project located on the Intracoastal Waterway near the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The project redeveloped an aging retail office area into 355 luxury rental apartments, a 25 room hotel, 7,000 square feet of retail floor space and a 20 slip marina. WHK coordinated the project’s traffic impacts with the neigborhood homeowners association, the City, County and State agencies. WHK also prepared traffic signalization plans and assisted the developer in local and state permitting. Services provided by the firm in this effort include:
