WHK has provided traffic and transportation assistance to the developer and the prior developer Westinghouse Communities/Coral Ridge Properties for 20 years. The firm has prepared long range transportation studies, traffic impact studies, traffic concurrency assistance, identified long range transportation needs and provided presentations at public meetings. Recent projects include:
Parkland Golf and Country Club (2002) – Parkland, FL. – This project is an upscale luxury single family and multifamily development situated around a Greg Norman Golf Course. The project includes approximately 600 single family and 200 multifamily units located on 800 acres. WHK was responsible for preparing the traffic impact study and assisted WCI in the City approval process. The firm also assisted WCI in resolving traffic concurrency issues in County platting. Heron Bay North (2003) – Parkland, FL. – Heron Bay North is located in the northwest portion of the Heron Bay community. The project includes 827 single family and 360 multifamily dwelling units. WHK was responsible for preparing the traffic impact study and assisted WCI in the City approval process.
Heron Bay Northeast (2002) – Parkland, FL. – Heron Bay Northeast is located in the northeast portion of the Heron Bay community. The project includes 313 single family dwelling units. WHK was responsible for preparing the traffic impact study and assisted WCI in the City approval process.
